Any hockey fan that has lived in B.C. for a number of years will recognize the names Cliff Ronning and Kirk MacLean - two former stars for the Vancouver Canucks who became fan favourites and are among the clubs most beloved players.

The Squamish Peewee Rep Eagles finished out their season in Mission Sunday (March 4), in a weekend-long battle that, had they won, would have advanced them to the BC Provincial Finals.

The World Hockey Association received good and not-so-good financial news this week. The Texas-based company Nexus Capital Holdings, LLC advised the league that Nexus is not a party to litigation against the WHA.
