The Sea to Sky’s most tireless officer is back on the job.

After a brief kidnapping during which he sustained injuries, back in July, Const. Scarecrow has returned to duty.

His injuries were extensive, so it has taken a while to get him back.

The inanimate cut-out of an officer was at one point seen in many high-traffic areas in the Sea to Sky Corridor, pointing his radar gun at oncoming vehicles, scaring off would-be speeders.

Clearly, not everyone was a fan of the stoic policeman.

He was also abducted the summer before and then recovered.

Nonetheless, the constable is now back in action.

“He is ready to slow those speeders down, and we are lucky he is immune to COVID,” reads an announcement from Squamish RCMP’s Twitter handle.
