As a result of COVID-19, District council unanimously voted in late March to cancel all regular meetings for April.

That doesn't mean no meetings will happen, however.

Special business meetings will be convened as needed. These types of meetings, however, can happen at different times and protocol allows them to have increased teleconference and online participation from council.

Regular meetings are more rigid, as they are consistently held every other Tuesday evening. They also have limitations concerning teleconference and online participation.

Council also said it would avoid deliberating on items that require public feedback during these meetings, as the public's ability to participate will be more limited than usual, due to social distancing measures.
