Emergency crews were on the scene of an incident Wednesday involving a logging truck and another vehicle on Highway 99 at the Conroy Forest Service Road, north of Squamish.

Logs spilled onto the highway and the truck was on its side.

Several emergency crews rushed to the crash, including three ambulances, several RCMP vehicles and Squamish Fire Rescue.

Squamish RCMP tweeted that injuries had been reported.

Sgt. Sascha Banks told The Chief that, at least initially, the injuries do not appear serious.

The crash happened at about noon on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Lanes were closed for clean up and to enable Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement teams to do an inspection, Banks said.

The Highway was fully reopened at about 8:15 p.m.
