The Bowen Island RCMP is asking for the public's help to find a missing teen.

Christopher Park, 14, was last seen at approximately 11 p.m. on Oct. 21.

His family reported him missing the next day, police say, due to their concerns about him not returning home to Bowen Island.

The missing person alert was sent out by the RCMP on the evening of Oct. 23.

"Extensive work has been made by his family and police to locate Christopher with no success and are therefore they reaching out to the public for their help," reads a news alert from the RCMP.

Park is an Asian male, 1.8 metres tall (6ft) weighing 54 kilograms (120 lb).

He has brown eyes and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black and red checkered hoodie, black jeans, and black Adidas low-top runners.

Police say he is also carrying a white Champion hoodie.

He is known to frequent West Vancouver and locations such as Park Royal, the Ambleside Waterfront, Caulfield Village, and the area around Rockridge Secondary School in West Vancouver.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Park is asked to contact local police, Bowen Island RCMP at 604-947-0516, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
