I see our elected body is asking staff for further studies now that the Woodfibre LNG project has changed its cooling system to meet councils’ concerns. The change was made to facilitate concerns and now there are concerns over the change.

T he topic of affordable housing – or lack of it – is brought up again and again by Squamish residents on social media. The district has one of the lowest rental vacancies in the entire province, causing the price of suites to go up.

D on’t be fooled by the lack of campaign signs in Squamish (there are a few) – the provincial election is less than three weeks away. Despite being a relatively small town, we could make a real difference. But we need to get out and vote.
