Squamish Nation has issued its conditions for the liquefied natural gas facility planned for construction in Howe Sound near Squamish – and they’re both tough and appropriate.

I was asked recently if my city was a “technology company.” It’s an interesting question because I suspect most people would say, “of course not.

As this little patch of paradise bursts out of its constraints in every direction, there are a few nagging questions related to safety and serenity that need to be addressed.

I am writing this letter in response to the article regarding the cat killed by the coyote. The grieving woman states that she thinks cats are happier if left to roam.

I can no longer take it when it comes to the LNG topic at Woodfibre or for that matter within this province. It’s time for a timeout on the topic. How about a three month timeout? I for one am sitting on the fence when it comes to LNG.

Ever since my early childhood years, I’ve had two traits in extreme abundance – curiosity and a “never give up” attitude. I would drive my parents crazy by asking a million questions, then never accepting the simple answer.
