The tourist season is now beginning and as a long time Squamish resident, I would like to comment on our Adventure Centre. We are lucky to have such a visible and unique building to provide an overview of our tourist attractions.

A three-year-old child was hurt and traumatized from a cougar attack in her own neighbourhood Tuesday (June 16).It's such a horrifying incident that the story hit the airwaves and newspapers from here to the other side of the country.

Recently I walked the proposed Seventh Avenue connector corridor. The route will essentially divide a part of the estuary as well as impact one of the more prolific marshes in the area. I came home angry.
