How many council or committee meetings have you attended since Sept. 1, 2017?

25

What do you love most about Squamish? (150 word limit)

Everything, the scenery and outdoor activities are among my favorite things here.

Are you endorsing a particular candidate for mayor? (question for councilor candidates)

Squamish Issues

What do you think is the biggest single issue facing Squamish? (150 words limit)

Affordable housing

In the last term, what was council's single greatest accomplishment? What was council's biggest failure? (150 character limit)

I think their greatest accomplishment has been donating the land for Under One Roof. I think the biggest failure has been the rapid growth.

Residents often complain about traffic (speeding, parking etc.) What would you do to improve traffic and parking in Squamish? (150 words limit)

I think more bold digital type signage to encourage people to follow directed speed limits and reduce speed. I would like to explore other parking options and ensure building permits in the downtown core would be approved only with adequate parking. Also possible discussions with developers to obtain more downtown parking as part of agreement for them to build.

Squamish has a housing affordability crisis. What would you do to improve affordability? (150 words limit)

Create community conversations to explore other housing options for our community such as co-op, smaller lot sizes and the missing middle type housing such as row homes and micro homes would be a big part of these discussions.

Do you support stronger regulation of AirBNB?

Yes

How would you attract new businesses and employers to Squamish? (150 words limit)

I would encourage waiving business fees/taxes for a period of time similar to how council is doing currently to entice businesses to come to Squamish.

Do you have a strategy to implement regional transit? (150 word limit)

I think that if we continue to improve the service with bus shelters at more locations and more technology awareness for riders to track the bus and reduce wait times.

Given limited financial resources, what do you think is the single highest priority for Brennan Park? (150 word limit)

I believe that there is still community input needed to fully determine this priority of Brennan Park enhancements.

Do you support cannabis retail shops in Squamish?

Yes if managed properly and appropriatley located.
