Squamish women lead the Way in Business: Annie de la Chevrotiere

Annie has been an independent mortgage broker
in the area for over 20 years. She understands the lending landscape for Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Lillooet, and the Sunshine Coast. Her experience guides the application and approval process, and helps to find financing solutions for a variety of circumstances and situations.

“The mortgage environment has become more complex,” says Annie de la Chevrotiere, owner of Squamish-based Peak to Peak Mortgage. “Mortgage underwriting is now about assessing how borrowers qualify and matching them with a lender that is going to be the right fit at the best rate. It is like detective work for financing.” Many factors influence the outcome of available lending, including confirmation of income, credit scoring, location of property, and property type. “When I am working on securing a loan approval, there is a Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C.” Annie will work evenings and weekends to ensure deadlines are met.
