This year, 56 participants raised more than $3,000 for Squamish Search and Rescue.

Organizer Bryan Raiser describes Saturday's 20th Beyond the Valleycliffe of the Dolls (BVOD) as a "resounding success."

This year, 56 participants raised more than $3,000 for Squamish Search and Rescue.

"Bike event stoke is historically very high at BVOD, but this year being the first bike event back from the pandemic, it was doubly so," Raiser said in an emailed statement to The Chief

"Seeing smiling faces on bikes, it can not be overstated how badly we all missed that."

He thanked local businesses for getting behind the event and making it such a success.

"And Al Ross at Tantalus bikes who has the distinction of being the only person who has donated all 20 years," Raiser said.

"Double bonus is, lots of people who didn't even partake in the event took the opportunity to donate online," which folks can still do, he noted.
