Editor, I think one must be absolutly cynical or completely daft to take as partners in helping the poors of the third world the Canadian large corporations and mining companies exploiting their resources.

Despite all the joke-a-day websites, comedic videos on YouTube and funny images of cats doing the darnedest things shared via Facebook, make no mistake: The Internet is a completely serious place with no room for humour.

Editor, I would like to congratulate the 6 SLRD directors who voted against the Temporary Use Permits for the Upper Lillooet Hydro Project.

Editor, It is probably one of the hardest things to lose a cherished pet. Recently, my family had to make the decision to euthanize our beloved dog, Rufus, as he appeared to be suffering in his old age.

Now that we have finished "Juneuary," it is time to enjoy summer. But that doesn't mean garden chores are over.

If there is one valuable life lesson that I have learned the hard way, and continue to learn every day, it's to be careful about the assumptions I make.
