EDITOR, Hikers on the Stawamus Chief trail oppose the idea of a gondola going through the park. Squamish has a wondrous big rock called the Stawamus Chief. Looking upwards, there is the natural desire to get to its three peaks.

I am always pleasantly surprised at the new and wonderfully weird ways that the human race finds to be completely ridiculous. A few weeks ago, I read about a new bylaw passed by councillors in Richmond Hill, Ont.

EDITOR, Re. Results of online poll on HST/PST question, Chief, May 24. Amazing that 192 people had no idea what was right or wrong with sales tax of any kind. Sixteen apparently didn't even care. Thirty sat on the fence as though that was an opinion.
