I grew up on a rock bluff overlooking the lower Squamish Valley. I could see the Woodfibre ferry taking my father to work. I went to great schools here, and had good summer employment opportunities to pay my way through university.

Ron Bahm has called Squamish home for 17 years. The owner of Brackendale Auto Service is no stranger to the political arena. He ran for mayor in 2002, council in 2005 and mayor in 2011, before pulling out. Bahm later said that was a mistake.

I was raised in Vancouver and attended the University of British Columbia graduating in 1970 with degrees in commerce and law. I practiced law in Vancouver for six years and then in 1978 wanted a change of pace.

For thirty-five years I enjoyed a rewarding career as a teacher and school administrator in Squamish. More recently, I am proud to have served on the Board for the past nine years.

Twenty-two years ago, while taking the train from Vancouver to Whistler, I experienced a foundational moment in my life.

I was born in Quebec in 1975 and grew up in mainly in tiny Kettleby, Ontario. I have lived in Squamish since 1999 and have run my own IT business full-time since 2002.
