A family fun event is planned at the Britannia Mine Museum on Father's Day, Sunday (June 19). It will also be the grand opening of the new Family Play Area and includes sack races, three-legged races, tug-of-war, balloon twisters and more.

EDITOR, The recent Chief article highlighting the post-Olympic trend in local unemployment levels ("Squamish EI increase tops in B.C." June 3), though not unexpected, remains a cause for concern.
