I cannot adequately express my anger and disappointment upon learning that Minister of Environment and Climate Change Catherine McKenna has given the green light for the proposed Woodfibre LNG project.

Twenty-nine days have passed since I started my 90-day challenge to wear the same black dress. The challenge’s aim, among other things, is to raise awareness of fashion consumerism. So far, so good: I am not completely sick of the dress yet.

I read with interest the editorial about marijuana (“Smoked out of our minds, March 17). I am very concerned about developing brains being adversely affected by its use as well.

Regarding the not hiring temporary foreign workers for the proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant as we have workers available here: The availability of workers is not the issue, as prices of LNG have decreased dramatically.

Is it just me, or is human behaviour becoming more baffling every day? For example, one resident of the Lower Mainland has been ticketed 14 times over the past five years for distracted driving.

They gathered last week to talk about building up Squamish, about creating homes for the multitude of people who want to live in this recreational paradise.

“It’s a sign of progress and a barometer of the growth of our small town,” I whispered to myself today as my nine-year-old daughter walked me through the recently decimated forest next to Brennan Park, making way for a new subdivision.
