EDITOR, I read with interest the article of March 4, "CAO denies Squamish 'closed for business'" on The Chief's website, as I am the solicitor for the Paradise Trails development.

EDITOR, Good spring day to you all. I would like to send everybody a big thank you for participating in the fundraiser for Lina Palethorpe. We raised more than $5,000 during the day's event.

The sun's appearance over the weekend was like a tonic.I saw so many people out on bikes and in the garden - it was fabulous.It only takes a few sunny days to remind us why we love to garden on the blessedly balmy West Coast.

EDITOR, Where are all thebylaw officers? Do we even have any in Squamish? I have seen the vehicles but never seen a person. I have also seen a lot of people breaking bylaws but no one writing tickets ordoing anything about it.

EDITOR, Re. Smoking senior barred from Hilltop. I am writing in support of the 80-year-old smoker who has been told he cannot attend at Hilltop House. He is not the only smoker at Hilltop House.
