EDITOR,Per Paul Demers' column ("Liberals eviscerate public schools," In the Winds, Chief, March 9), teachers are right to gripe about the quality of education when there are 30 students in a classroom, plus special needs.

Ever since I saw clinical psychologist Shafali Tsabary's TedTalk on what she calls "conscious parenting," I've been intrigued to learn more about this woman and her philosophies.

Thank you, it's great to be back. Now let's get to work. Right off the bat, I must say how optimistic I am about this council. Sure, you have to be, but there is potential in this dynamic bunch with great passion, energy and ideas.
