Wow, what a month it has been! With all the amazing events that take place in Squamish, each of those groups ask our local businesses for support, without which the events would not take place.

So, Squamish was packed with around 17,000 extra people watching more than 50 bands play in a music festival that was mostly problem-free and what seems to be on the mind of a significant number of locals? Garbage and traffic.

EDITOR, Well, after two hours of sitting on highway trying to get home from the city and then enduring three days of rude and belligerent young folk with a overinflated sense of self entitlement, we (Squamish) are left holding the bag.

Editor, I am writing, with a copy to Council, in response to the column written by Doug Race (Sq Chief June 27. page A15) regarding the centennial Legacy project.
