From the creepy Elf on the Shelf to the joy of cookies, this is a magical time

With the flurry of shopping activity and expensive outings such as skiing at Christmas, it’s difficult not to think about money.

During this season of giving and receiving, we should not hesitate to acknowledge some people who have made a lasting contribution to our community.

Recently I was scheduled for some operations at the Squamish General Hospital. With a shortage of available operating rooms in the Lower Mainland, the trip to Squamish may be a growing trend.
