Getting around Squamish is difficult enough if you’re able-bodied, due to the wind and the steep grades of some hilly and mountainous regions of town. But for people with disabilities, it can be a nightmare.

I am a supporter of the Garibaldi at Squamish project. CEO Dave Negrin is asking the people of Squamish, the Squamish Nation, mayor and council to allow his company to go through a master planning and rezoning process.

My partner and I bought our home in Squamish in September 2006. It was a fixer-upper, and one of the first things we wanted to do was replace the old oil furnace. Winter was coming, and we needed to make a quick decision.
