EDITOR, You may not know me but I'm your neighbour. I have lived here for close to 20 years. I work out of my house most days, spend my evenings quietly at home, sometimes I have company over but they are always gone well before night time.

EDITOR, I would like to thank the person who is clearing the Westway sidewalks after a snowfall.

It has been a dark start to the year for man's best friend. On Jan. 31, news broke that up to 100 sled dogs were slaughtered in Whistler last April.

EDITOR, So the city is looking for options to fund infrastructure projects ("Utility rates may rise 50 per cent or more," The Chief, Feb.

These days most major municipal bulletins, including the recently published Squamish Community Profile (SCP), highlight the importance of the so-called "knowledge industry.

Talk about confusing.

EDITOR, The Business Improvement Association (BIA) serving the downtown commercial centre in Squamish is at risk of ceasing to exist.

In deal-making parlance, it's called a quid pro quo. According to Wikipedia, the term "indicates a more or less equal exchange or substitution of goods or services.

The local food movement would not be complete without a nice cold drink to go along with it. Choosing a quality local beer won't prove too difficult as B.C. brews some outstanding suds.
