EDITOR, Re. Smoking senior barred from Hilltop. I am writing in support of the 80-year-old smoker who has been told he cannot attend at Hilltop House. He is not the only smoker at Hilltop House.

These past few weeks have been very busy for Council. At this time of the year we must finalize our budget. It takes time to deal with all of the revenue and expenditures that go into a budget of more than $25 million.

I have a real love-hate relationship with technology, perhaps because I live on that age cusp where my five-year-old knows more about my iPhone than I do. I can't text worth beans; however, I am loving the apps available to me that make life easier.

EDITOR, Re. "Two nabbed in 'vicious attack'" (Chief, March 11), I have to ask Cpl. Peter DeVries to stop lying about cannabis and to tell the truth as to what is really behind these types of acts.

EDITOR, I was distressed to read yet again our Council making a major land use decision without first consulting residents, regarding the transfer of land to the Squamish Nation. The Cheekye Fan lands have been deemed unsafe.
