How we see ourselves influences how we go through life

According to many of the promotional dispatches emanating from the District of Squamish, our itinerant eagle population is one of this community’s keynote features. Another way to put it is bald eagles are for Squamish what the surf is for Tofino.

I watched the last council meeting with the Fortis application for test hole drilling in the estuary. It has become painfully obvious we are a society run by technocrats and bureaucrats. Lip service is given to the people, but really, we have no say.
