This is the time of year – now that the weather has turned cold and wet – that many folks are thinking about taking a much-needed vacation to a warmer climate. But sometimes your perfect holiday doesn’t go exactly as planned. Maybe it’s your flight.

When it comes to sexual assault, we're still in the dark ages

Approximately 472,000 women across the country are sexually assaulted every year, according to Statistics Canada. That’s almost 38 times more Canadians than people seriously injured or killed in vehicle accidents in 2011.
