EDITOR, There are times for reflection and times for change.

What are you doing tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 19)? Why not plan on attending the annual St. John's Anglican Church Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.? This popular event features delicious home baking, preserves, sewing and crafts, jewelry and a raffle.

I was in the pub recently chatting with an ex-municipal councillor when the discussion turned, of course, to the upcoming election. "So, Paul," he asked.

EDITOR, Re. "Sign complaint," from Owen Carter of Mississauga (Letters, Chief, Nov. 11). Owen Carter, visiting from Mississauga, thought our election signs were a joke.

EDITOR, I have to say I have never been more interested and excited about municipal politics until this election and the life Auli, running for mayor, has injected into this small community's election.

In the cool, damp and dark of the autumn forest, fungi are flourishing everywhere. Don't be fooled - there is far more to a fungus than the humble mushroom.

EDITOR, The Oceanfront is a world-class location in its own right. It will attract investor interest by the very nature of its location between mountains and sea.

It is a classic lesson. When life throws you lemons, you need to find a way to make lemonade. I've been suffering from a bad back for the past few months, which is most inopportune when you garden for a living.

EDITOR, After my latest experience in dealing with MPs and their offices, I long for the old days (about a decade ago) when we had MPs like John Reynolds and MLAs like Harry Lali, who actually took time to listen to requests from their constituents a
