EDITOR, My grandmother and I entered the Post Office after a holiday weekend to find a very long lineup. My grandmotherwas visibly uncomfortable and even somewhat aggravated trying to hold herself up with the support of only her walker.

EDITOR, While visiting family in Squamish for Thanksgiving this year, my brother-in-law, Barclay, took us to the proposed site of the walkway at Blind Channel.

EDITOR, Blasting has begun on the Crumpit Woods development site and I feel the need to write in and tell you that my house is actually shaking with every blast (we get about four a day) and my windows are vibrating.

I'm in a bit of a panic right now, because here we are just two weeks out from Halloween and I don't even have a good idea for a costume yet.

EDITOR, Re. "Prior eyes Blind Channel path," Chief, Oct. 11. As a community, we talk a lot about economic development and rejuvenating the downtown. One of the most basic ways to do that is to replace eyesores with more attractive spaces.

What an amazing town we live in! I applaud each and every business owner in Squamish for their dedication to our community.

Opinions regarding the viability of the Garibaldi at Squamish four-season resort are all over the map. Despite those diverse viewpoints, at least one thing we should agree on is that the proponents deserve a fair hearing.

I am an adult who plays - and even worse, really enjoys - video games.

As much as I enjoy tulips and daffodils, my favourite bulb is garlic. If you have never grown garlic it is time to try.
