The popular Squamish Winter Farmers' Market is open for business in the CN Roundhouse and Conference Centre at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park on Sunday (Feb. 12) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

EDITOR, I am writing this letter in response to the article, "RCMP want CPO re-opened" (Chief, Feb. 3). I have been a resident of Squamish since 1974 and I have been volunteering for various groups and agencies since moving here 38 years ago.

This is my first opportunity to write this column since the last election. Although necessary in our society, elections are not the nicest process to go through as a candidate.
